Aeaea
Aeaea is a mythical island. It is said to be the home of Circe. Odysseus has stayed there for a year because Circe forced him to stay there for a year.until his men are turned back into men.

CalypsoCalypso is a beautiful goddess nymph who keeps Odysseus on her island for seven years. She is generally said that she is the daughter of Atlas the Titan. Calypso enchants Odysseus with her singing. During this time, Odysseus hopes to leave the island soon.

A female monster who sucks in water three times a day to form a deadly whirlpool. She vomits the water back after. It is another sea monster, that lived inside a much larger rock. Odysseus and his crew have ran into this monster before.
CirceA witch goddess/sorceress of magic. Circe is the daughter of Helios. Circe was renowned for her vast knowledge of potions and herbs. She used her magic potions and magic to transform her enemies or anyone that has offended her into animals. She turns Odysseus' men into swine and forces Odysseus to stay with her for a year.
ErebusErebus is the Greek god of darkness. Erebus is the brother of Gaea, Tartarus, Eros, and Nyx. The word Erebus was also used to indicate a region of the Underworld where the dead would go immediately after dying.
Lotus EatersLotus-eaters were people who feeds Odysseus' crew with lotus plants to stay with them forever. The lotus fruits and flowers were the primary food of the island and were tranquilizing. The people who eat the lotus were unwilling to go back home and keep on eating lotus with the lotus eaters. Odysseus has six men due to the honey-filled fruit of lotus.
SirensThey are sea nymphs whose beautiful features and mysterious music lures sailors to steer there ships toward the rocks. These are dangerous ladies that lead men to their deaths with their voices.
ThrinaciaA island where the sun god, Helios, keeps his castle. The island is guarded by Helios's eldest daughter, Lampetia. Odysseus and his crew arrive at this island after dealing with Scylla and Charybdis. Odysseus has been warned by Circe to not go there, but his men beg him to stop. At the end, Odysseus is the only man to survive.

Cicones were a Homeric Thracian tribe. They are people on the southwestern coast of Thrace, who battled Odysseus and his men on their journey home. It is said they have joined forces with The Trojans in The Iliad. Odysseus and his men take Ismara by shock and kill most of the Ciconian men they come across and take Ciconian women as slaves.
PolyphemusHe is a Cyclops that was blinded by Odysseus. He also is the son of Poseidon. It is said in Homer's epic, Odysseus lands on the island of the Cyclops during his journey home from the Trojan war.
CyclopsCyclops is a race of brutish one-eyed giants who live solitary lives as shepherds, supposedly on an island now known a Sicily. Each cyclops had a single eye in the middle of his forehead.
EurylochusEurylochus was one of Odysseus loyal crew members. He was as second-in-command of Odysseus' ship during their way to Ithaca. He was also a relative of Odysseus through marriage.
PhaeciaA island kingdom ruled by King Alcinous. It was the home of the Phaeacians and the last destination of Odysseus' 10 year journey before returning home. Odysseus washes up shore from Calypso's island to Phaeacia.
ScyllaScylla is a female monster with six serpent heads, each head having a triple row of fangs (thought to be a dangerous rock in the Strait of Messina.) Scylla made an appearance in The Odyssey when Odysseus and his crew encounter her on their travels. It is said that she is a beautiful nymph who turns into a monster.
Teiresias He is a famous blind prophet from the city of Thebes. He is a prophet of Apollo in Thebes. He meets Odysseus in the Land of the Dead. After his death, he was visited in the underworld by Odysseus to whom he gave valuable advice concerning the rest of his odyssey, such as how to get past Scylla and Charybdis. He even gave him advice where he should not eat the cattle of Helios on Thrinacia.
