Odysseus and his men land in the Land of The Cyclops. His men are looking for supplies after the encounter of The Lotus-Eaters. They sleep in the cave overnight. They find out that it is Polyphemus' cave. He blocks the cave with a stone until he is hungry. He eats two men right after they trap them. The next day, two more men get eaten up. Odysseus does not speak up about this and lets it go. Later that evening, Polyphemus eats two more men. This time, Odysseus speaks up. Odysseus has enough of this and offers Polyphemus strong wine. He thanked Odysseus and asked for his name. He said his name was "nobody". The Cyclops fell fast asleep. Odysseus and his men get a stake and stabs him in the Cyclops' eye. The men tied him up and Polyphemus prays to his father, Poseidon, to take revenge on Odysseus.
